Many customers ask us daily what prompted us to open L'Endroit. There are many reasons, and we would like to share the main ones with you.
First, it's important to mention that L'Endroit stems from a desire to "do things differently." We didn't intend to open a traditional salon where hundreds of people would walk through, where the noise of hair dryers would fill the air. We wanted a space that could offer enough warmth for clients and enough room for training sessions: a versatile space where both clients and education could coexist.
The salon's location was therefore the result of a careful selection process. We wanted a place that was both accessible and intimate. After several visits and searches, we found the ideal space: the very one where you come to see us!
The layout of the space had to be carefully considered to embody and facilitate this versatility. To that end, we opted for countertops and cabinets that allow for efficient storage. We wanted as few visible objects as possible, so that attention would be drawn instead to Mount Royal or the living room's iconic forest green sofa.
These objectives, to style and to train, have allowed us to develop partnerships with Oribe and Cantin who support our desire to offer a high-end service and to offer training to hairdressers.
L'Endroit Suite 202 finds its uniqueness in its approach to what we call a salon. We wanted a modern space not only in its design, but also in the concept that animates it. Thus, more than a salon, L'Endroit is first and foremost a space, a space where we seek to reflect on hairdressing in all its implications.
